YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport is located just 20 minutes from downtown. Upon arrival, you may choose from a variety of means of transportation to your housing; car rentals, taxi services, Uber, airport shuttle or the 747 bus that will get you to one of the downtown spots in 40 to 60 minutes depending on traffic.
Montreal is just 75 kilometres (46 miles) from the U.S. Border and right on the Trans-Canada Highway.

You can also get to Montreal by train, check out Via Rail's website if you are traveling from a Canadian city and Amtrak's website if you are coming from
the States.

Montreal has a large variety of hotels available. Most of them are located downtown and are a 20 minute cab ride from Université de Montréal. We have locked-in special symposium prices at a variety of hotels.
