An all-classes reunion is scheduled for 12 noon at The Barclay, 5th
Avenue and A Street, in Belmar. If you wish to attend, send your
check (made payable to Elinor Schmalstich, $20 per person) to Al Wagner,
who will coordinate table arrangements. Al says it may sell out

Our 45th reunion was held at the Crystal Point Yacht Club in Point
Pleasant Beach, NJ., and was attended by over 140 people.
Harvey Marcus, our Master of Ceremonies, led the group through an
afternoon of introductions, awards, dinner, and dancing to the music of
1950-1955. Sometimes he had to work hard to keep the program moving
along, as many were very involved in their conversations, but that's what
reunions are for.
He led the class in recognizing the fine job the Reunion Committee
(Joni Adlassnig, John La Fauci, Otto Stahl, Al Wagner, Honey Weiner)
had done, and thanked Alex Varey, our webmaster at that time.
Awards also went to longest-married, came-the-farthest, and similarly
distinguished attendees. We tried to remember who won in several
categories of the Senior Poll. We all got together for a class
picture.

Many thought that we could have spent even more time together.
A 50-50 raffle was conducted to raise some "seed money" for
the 50th reunion, and we recruited some volunteers for organizing that
event. If you want to participate in the planning, we'll be
providing information about how you can volunteer, so check back.
